(Answer) (Category) PRW.NET FAQ's : (Category) V.92 :
What V.92 modems do you support ?
When we initially supported V.92 (Jul-2001) only US Robotice V.92 modems were supported. With the forlam release in Feb-2002, these modems have been certified:

Type / Brand Chipset Model
U.S Robotics 56K Fax external TI USR568603
USR568604
Zoom V.92 / V.44 external Lucent/Agere 3049
Zoom V.92 PCI Fax Modem Lucent/Agere 3025L/N
Hayes Accura V.92 external Lucent/Agere H08-15328
Creative Labs Modem Blaster V.92 Conexant HCF DE5621
Zoom V.92 / V.44 external Conexant HCF 56FW92

Other V.92 modems should work as long as they follow the standard correctly. If you report a problem on a modem that is not on this list and the problem can not be reproduced with these modems we would refer you to the modem manufacturer.
