(Answer) (Category) PRW.NET FAQ's : (Category) SPAM Control :
Why did a valid message (e.g. from a friend) get marked as SPAM ?
There are several possible reasons why a valid message can be classified as SPAM. For example, if your friend mistypes their email address when setting up their email program and uses an invalid domain (e.g. jose@hotmail.con instead of jose@hotmail.com) it will fail the Message Analysis test. If your friend sends mail through an ISP or mail server that promotes SPAM, it will fail the List Lookup test.

We suggest that you notify the sender when you get a valid message marked as SPAM since that generally indicates that they need to correct a problem. If the reason for the SPAM label is not clear, you can forward the message to our support department for assistance. Please forward the message as an attachment to preserve all headers.
