(Answer) (Category) PRW.NET FAQ's : (Category) ISDN :
Are fiber optic lines required for ISDN ? Can ISDN lines be installed at my home or office ?
In most cases, the same copper wires used today for standard telephone service can be used for ISDN. This means most homes and offices are ISDN-ready today. The provisioning occurs at the central office. Fiber optics or underground cables are not a requirement.
