To use ADSL you need an ADSL modem or router. The modem is provided by the phone company at a cost of $49.95. The modem will be shipped approximately two weeks after you place your order. This is a discounted rate that requires a 12 month term. If the line is cancelled after the 30 day grace period but before the 12 month term, the phone company will process a charge of $199 on your phone bill. The ADSL modem requires an available ethernet or USB port on your computer. Currently customer provided modems are not supported. | |
